I have to say I am blown away with this forum, take a look at their Facebook page to give you an idea of who works there and why. I play poker almost every day. I have tried all these other rooms and ALWAYS go back to Dons room. This room has the best action and the best tournaments, not to mention high stake Black Jack with Casino rules. They dont push and they dont rob you. All of you questioning payouts on tournaments, take a minute and add up the money posted on the screen, it is ALWAYS EXACTLY 80% of the entry take. They have the most experienced dealers and in my opinion the BEST dealers in the state. They are now hiring dealers from the casinos from downtown because the room is in such high demand. With the exception of a few waitresses you couldnt have better service. The bar management is respectful and pleasant. As far as fair play, without a doubt the management staff has full control of the room and has expertise knowledge of the game. As far as charities are concerns, they better remember one thing…BE NICE…or you may be asked to not return. It is the players who fund your charity and it is the players that make charitable contributions to help these foundations. Who needs to go downtown or go north when you can go right around the corner. If anything they need to expand!

Jennifer…Not sure why you continue to stick up for those that have done you wrong in the past! As for telling people to be nice? You should look in the mirror! Ever wonder how you lost THREE jobs? Hopefully you’ve removed that stick out of your ass and are doing a better job at the casino! You need to pay more attention to you’re coincided self and stop pointing the finger!you might want to put more effort into setting a wedding date!

After going to Cada’s I’m hoping more people will open their eyes and see how crappy Snookers really is. CADA’S ARE 100% more respectful and as of yet, they have not had a close down due to BEING CROOKED AND CHEATING! Don is an ass and instead of treating people with respect, he treats the players like they work there but, when it’s time for him to be the tough guy and throw some dumb ass loud mouth out of the place, HE’S don’t have the ballz to say anything then. Many players are tired of the bullshit…TAKE CARE OF BUSINESS AND THROW THEM OUT!

I just noticed that people are still commmenting about this place. I have to admit I didn’t look at their Facebook page to see who works there but I know how I was treated when I was there and what payout I recieved in relation to everyone else for a second place finish. Again, no disrespect to any particular person but the payouts DID NOT add up correctly and when I called later that night to inquire about their payout structure the manager said quote, “Well we can charge what ever we want between 20% and 80% for a tourny fee”, and he would not answer the question directly. Now if that isn’t a shady answer I don’t know what is. Again, I have played almost everywhere in southeast MI and have never gotten an answer like that when asking what the payouts are. Full disclosure, my normal room is Big Beaver Tavern in Troy.
That’s my truthfull experience so make of it what you will.

is it safe to leave the place on foot at 2am? hows the neighborhood? white area or black area? are they any safe cheap motels or apts nearby for those of us without cars?
and if this room isnt next to any of those things, which room anywhere in MI is?
would also be nice to find a room with a female masseuse or a room spreading omaha8 pl or $2-100
