Moon vs Kopp

moon_kopp Did you watch the W.S.O.P. on ESPN Tuesday night? If you did what did you think of the hand between Darvin Moon and Billy Kopp?

For those of you that did not see it let me give you a briefing of the hand. Only 12 players left, so we are 3 off from the final table. Moon has approximately 25 million in chips, Kopp has approximately 20 million in chips, they are the 2 big stacks left and get into a huge hand. Watch the video below to see the hand and how it plays out and share your input on the hand.

Now to me I think Kopp made a crazy play, I understand when you are this close to the final table you see more and more people play real tight so there are good spots to steal some chips. I would have a very hard time putting my tournament life on the line in this spot. You have a huge stack and have a not only very good but a great chance at making the final table, you could just float and make it. If you make the final table you are going to get at least $1,263,602, and if you go out in 12 th you are getting $896,730 (still a very good pay day). I know you should not let the money dictate your play, but for me there comes a time to look at the money and just take it easy and avoid playing big pots.

Those are just some of my thoughts and not to take anything away from Kopp, he had a great run and I congratulate him on that, I just think he got kinda crazy with his flush.
